WASH Economics Conference 2024

  • Call for papers

AMSE is organizing the WASH Economics Conference on May 21 and 22, 2024 in Marseille and online. The event is co-organized with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
This conference aims to bring together academics doing research on water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).

Paper topics may relate to any area of WASH economics, loosely defined as how actors (e.g., individuals, providers, governments) make decisions about the allocation and means of providing scarce resources in the delivery and use of WASH services. Submissions related to any setting globally are welcome, as are submissions from researchers working on such issues within disciplines beyond economics (e.g., engineering, public health).

The keynote lecture is Molly LIPSCOMB, University of Virginia.

The call for submissions is available on the event website. Submissions are open until February 15, 2024 February 21, 2024 (extended deadline).
