Aix-Marseille School of Economics benefits from this scheme, known as the Master Tiger Excellence Scholarship.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF A TIGER MASTER'S EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP?
A TIGER Master's Excellence Scholarship provides you with funding, accommodation and a warm welcome:
- Aix-Marseille Université finances you up to €10,000 for one academic year.
- Aix-Marseille Université will reserve a room for you in a CROUS university residence (provided you complete the necessary formalities within the allotted time).
- Aix-Marseille Université will take care of you from the moment you arrive in France and accompany you throughout your stay.
WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY AND FUNDING CRITERIA?
Students entering a Master's programme who have never been enrolled in a higher education institution in France before are eligible, excluding those of French nationality or dual nationality.
Selection is based on a single criterion of academic excellence.
HOW TO APPLY ?
- Step 1 : I choose my Master's programme from among the eligible programs. The M1 and following M2 programmes offered by AMSE are eligible:

- Step 2 : I submit my application for the programme of my choice via the appropriate platform depending on my personal situation and I fill out this form to express my interest in the scholarship (both steps are necessary).
- Step 3: The programme coordinators review the applications and select the candidates who will be awarded the scholarship.
- Step 4 : I receive my program admission letter.
- Step 5: If I have been selected for the scholarship, I will receive, shortly afterwards, my award letter for the TIGER Master’s Excellence Scholarship.
WHEN TO APPLY?
As indicated in step 2 above, the application platforms vary depending on the student's status:
- from November 2025 on Etudes en France (depending on the country of origin),
- from February 2026 on MonMaster,
- from March 2026 on e-Candidat.
The decision on the awarding of scholarships will be communicated from the beginning of June by the university's international relations department. You will then be informed by the same teams about the next steps.
