We are honored to welcome Robert F. Engle, Professor at NYU Stern School of Business and recipient of the 2003 Nobel Prize in Economics, as a distinguished keynote speaker at QFFE 2025. This event encompasses both the Spring School and the International Conference on Quantitative Finance and Financial Econometrics.

Professor Engle will deliver courses at the spring school on the theme "The Impact of Climate Risk on Financial Markets".

At the international conference, he will give a keynote lecture entitled: "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the greenest of us all?", offering a unique insight from one of the world’s foremost experts in econometrics and financial risk. This keynote promises to be a highlight of the QFFE 2025 program.

Professor Engle's lecture will be followed by a second keynote lecture given by Dacheng XIU, University of Chicago, entitled"Can Machines Learn Weak Signals?".
