The study of a world in crisis is divided into three areas: economic crises and the new foundations of the macroeconomy after the 2008 crisis, global transformations (development, democratic transitions, migrations, growth) and public action to address environmental and health crises. 4 methodological fields of excellence are mobilized for this purpose: Quantitative macroeconomics and macrodynamics; Network theory; Econometrics of time series, panel data; Big data.

LORDE 2025 Workshop

AMSE is organizing the LORDE Workshop (LOng-Run Dynamics in Economics) from 26 to 28 March 2025 in Marseille. This workshop is co-organised with the Laboratoire d'Économie Appliquée de Grenoble (GAEL), the Centre for Economics at Paris-Saclay (CEPS), the Laboratoire d'Economie Rouen Normandie (LERN), Paris School of Economics (PSE), IÉSEG School of Management and the Centre for Environmental Economics - Montpellier (CEE-M). Submissions are open until 13 December 2024.

Karine Moukaddem (AMSE PhD student) has been selected as a recipient of the J-PAL MENA Scholar Fellowship.
